Small Business Resource

Hosted by Tim Gaspar, Economic Development Chair. The event will cover three main discovery areas: (1) BusinessSource Opportunities – business counseling, available programs, grants, low- and no-cost funding and the Small Business Legacy Grant; (2) WorkSource Solutions – workforce programs, hiring and screening support, and On-the-Job Training (OJT) opportunities; (3) Chamber of Commerce Connections – business advocacy, legislative voice and connection to target audience, visibility, credibility, referrals, education and valuable community relationships. Attendees will leave with practical next steps, new contacts and local support, funding and program information, and tools to sustain and scale. Target audience: Small business owners, entrepreneurs, independent professionals and anyone preparing to launch a business in the West San Fernando Valley. In partnership with City of Los Angeles Economic and Workforce Development Department (EWDD) and the West Valley BusinessSource Center.
