South Valley WorkSource Center is a workforce development organization serving job seekers and employers in the San Fernando Valley and the City of Los Angeles. We are part of the City of Los Angeles WorkSource Center network — administered by the City’s Economic and Workforce Development Department (EWDD) — and a proud partner of America’s Job Center of California (AJCC), a statewide network of free job and training services.

South Valley WorkSource Center is currently operated by Equus Workforce Solutions, Inc. under contract with EWDD. We operate the website at southvalleyworksource.com (the “Site”). This Privacy Notice explains how we collect, use, and protect information you provide when you request our services through our Site.

This Privacy Notice applies to information you provide through our public website. South Valley WorkSource Center also administers programs funded under the Workforce Innovation and Opportunity Act (WIOA). Information collected from WIOA program participants — including through the WIOA application — is governed by separate federal and state confidentiality requirements that apply to WIOA-funded agencies. All personally identifiable information (PII) collected through WIOA programs is handled in accordance with those requirements.

2. Information We Collect

We only collect personal information when you actively initiate a request for our services. The following categories of information may be collected at that time:

  • Contact information: including your name, email address, phone number, and mailing address
  • Job fair interest: including your name and contact information provided when signing up to be notified of job fairs we host
  • Communications: messages and inquiries you submit through contact forms

We do not collect payment or financial information through our Site.

3. How We Use Your Information

We use the information we collect for the following purposes:

  • To comply with applicable laws and regulations
  • To respond to your questions, inquiries, or service requests submitted via our contact form
  • To notify you of upcoming job fairs we host and provide related event information
